The doorbell was said to be one of Thomas Edison's inventions. It was invented in 1831

This is a print out on the notice board at the complex I live in. Interesting that nobody has said anything to the concierge about this notice.
"To open and close the button, don't pull or push the door. Just use the fob or press the button. The door will open and close automatically" should read something along the lines of..."To open or close the door, press the button or use your fob. The door is motorised and will open and close automatically"
