“Acting is a masochistic form of exhibitionism. It is not quite the occupation of an adult.” - Laurence Olivier

Quote of the day

One's real life is often the life that one does not lead. - Oscar Wilde

Smile in Life!

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.

so true!

Great people talk about ideas, average people talk about things, and small people talk about wine.

Tuesday

What ever it means to you

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Be lieve it, it is real. But only for a season. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

ubiquitous u·biq·ui·tous [yoo-bik-wi-tuhs]- existing or being everywhere, esp. at the same time; omnipresent: ubiquitous fog; ubiquitous little ants; blackcabs in London are ubiquitous.

Thought provoking

“LONELINESS is the poverty of self… SOLITUDE is the richness of self.”

Simple and universal. Loneliness and Solitude: opposites of the same coin. To get from one side to the other is a simple change in attitude.

Nine Inch Nails - Only

To me, this is a powerful tune. NINE INCH NAILS LYRICS "Only" I'm becoming less defined as days go by Fading away And well you might say I'm losing focus Kinda drifting into the abstract in terms of how I see myself Sometimes I think I can see right through myself [x2] Sometimes I can see right through myself Less concerned about fitting into the world Your world that is Cause it doesn't really matter anymore (no it doesn't really matter anymore) No it doesn't really matter anymore None of this really matters anymore Yes I am alone but then again I always was As far back as I can tell I think maybe it's because Because you were never really real to begin with I just made you up to hurt myself [x2] I just made you up to hurt myself, yeah And I just made you up to hurt myself And it worked. Yes it did! [Chorus:] There is no you There is only me There is no you There is only me There is no fucking you There is only me There is no fucking you There is only me Only [x4] Well the tiniest little dot caught my eye and it turned out to be a scab And I had this funny feeling like I just knew it's something bad I just couldn't leave it alone, I kept picking at the scab It was a doorway trying to seal itself shut But I climbed through Now I am somewhere I am not supposed to be, and I can see things I know I really shouldn't see And now I know why, now, now, now I know why Things aren't as pretty On the inside [Chorus] Only [x8] Great Video

    Blogging...

Term used to describe anyone with enough time or narcissism to document every tedious bit of minutia filling their uneventful lives. Possibly the most annoying thing about bloggers is the sense of self-importance they get after even the most modest of publicity. Sometimes it takes as little as a referral on a more popular blogger's website to set the lesser blogger's ego into orbit.

If minds had anuses, blogging would be what your mind would do when it had to take a dump.
